This workshop is conducted on Zoom over four days of interactive sessions.

We learn more everyday about how interconnected the brain, mind, and body are and how they influence and are influenced by fields of force inside and around us.

Think of the energetic and social fields we are currently having to navigate—economic challenges, polarized elections, demands for racial justice, climate crisis, and epidemics.

Mary Gelinas,Ed.D., Alan Briksin, Ph.D., and David Sibbet, and  as change agents, process leaders, and individuals, have been immersed in the challenge of designing, leading, and participating in collaborative processes while swimming in this swirl. They are working to step back from the spinning flows of propaganda to sense into the larger fields and how they shape our inner and outer focus. They’ve plunged into the world of neuroscience and social psychology and are finding, if not some answers, some hopeful perspectives. They hope to learn to expand awareness of fields in which people can interact with more presence, compassion, and collective wisdom. They are inviting you to join the exploration.

It  feels urgent that we make progress in this area.

Field awareness sits at the edges of acceptability in a world dominated by materialistic, objectivist thinking patterns that emphasize analysis, separation of elements, and individual agency. We are increasingly concluding that group and social change is shaped fundamentally by these hard-to-analyze fields. How do we learn to use our body, mind, heart and spirit to perceive them? How do we even talk about this kind of meta-phenomenon?

How can we learn to transcend a materialistic paradigm without rejecting its value to create a future that works for all of us?
